In 1944, the USD became the single currency convertible in physical gold ... All the other currencies were convertible in USD.
From 1971, no more currency is convertible in physical Gold .... The change rates can be easily manipulate !!! So , to help citizens keeping trust in the currencies, the States should loan in the Financial markets, no more in their own Central Banks .....
The Welfare states in the West from the 1880s , but especially after WWII, have created massive bubbles of debt. From 2007, we are entering in the end of this cycle. .....
