Money is not absolutly necessary for economic activities inside a community linked by a common interest ....!!! Complementary currencies are useful mediums on exchange inside communities with a common interest .... It can be only tokens ....
The initial paradigm in economy is VALUE, not price.
Money is a language which include the concept of "price", to make the link between different economic interests !!!!
SO PHYSICAL GOLD AND SILVER HAVE BEEN, FOR CENTURIES, A KEY ELEMENT OF THIS LANGUAGE ....
But the physical supply of precious metal could be a problem for political control or economic momentum .... but more important !!! money became a GOOD .... !!!
The concept of ""Fractional Reserve Banking"" has been invented and used officially from 1694 to cope with this problem !! but Fractional Reserve Banking has not made a clear difference between money like Gold or Silver, and "money like" which was "money debt" !!!
NOWADAYS THE AMOUNT OF DEBTS IS TERRIFIC !!! AND SOCIALLY, THE CURRENT SITUATION IS PAINFUL ALL OVER THE WORLD ....AN UNLIMITED GROWTH INSIDE A PHYSICALLY LIMITED EARTH IS IMPOSSIBLE ...
WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THIS "MONEY DEBTS" ?? ONLY INCREASE THE PRICES OF ASSETS !!!!
