Why these big megaliths, on the Island of Yap could be used as money ....... Because the history of each stone gave them its trading value, ..... Stones money were true guarantees , so sustaiables medium of exchange....not objects of speculation ....
Nowadays, SCARCITY MEANS VALUE ..... and not many things on thé Earth are rarest than colored diamonds ....
Colored diamonds are a wonderful reserve of value, like real estate, but not easily liquid.
Fiat currencies are absolutly not scarce, but only in hand of a small minority of people ....... Nowadays, the cash is clearly not the best reserve of value ..... With negative interest rates and high fréquency trading for overvalued stocks exchanges , making money with the current Financial system is almost impossible .....
With the up coming collapse of the "money debt" bubble, we think money should be a tangible collateral, but any token backed on this collateral can be a currency
